Photo of the Month

Auroral Rings (31)
On the evening of November 12th, 2025, the Northern Lights slammed into effect over Northern Colorado. Mild temperatures, clear skies, and an unusually powerful G4 solar event made for a truly crazy show. This photo was taken well after the peak of the lights - a peak so incredible it is being called the best Colorado has seen since the turn of the century - and it was still vibrant.
Taken with: Nikon Z8 -- Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 -- SmallRig VT-20 Mini
Settings: Shutter - 900 Seconds Aperture - f4.5 ISO - 64
